2023 Honda Passport Model Review

After receiving a slew of big updates last year, the Passport returns for 2023 are mostly unchanged. When shopping for a new Passport, you will have three trim levels to pick from. The entry-level EX-L trim is luxurious enough for most folks. Not only does the Passport EX-L have a leather-appointed interior, but it also comes standard with heated front seats. Meanwhile, Honda's Display Audio multimedia interface features an 8.0-inch touch display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. A few of the other key features include tri-zone automatic climate control, a power sunroof, and attractive 20-inch alloy wheels. The Passport TrailSport has a more adventurous look. Rugged-style tires and roof rails come standard. When taking an out-of-town road trip, this trim's satellite-linked navigation system will keep you on the right path. Atop the range sits the plush Elite trim. Not only does it elevate the sound of your music with a 10-speaker premium audio system, but it also enhances comfort by adding heated outboard rear seats. Another great feature is the SUV's hands-free rear tailgate.

Honda Insight to be Discontinued for 2023

After Honda announced that it would discontinue the Insight hybrid and replace it with the Civic Hybrid, there was a lot of speculation about what this means for the future of hybrids. Some people are concerned that this move means that hybrids are no longer a viable option, but Honda insists that this is not the case. Instead, they believe the Civic Hybrid is a better option for most people and will be more successful than the Insight. The Insight hybrid is based on the Civic. It will be discontinued and replaced by a Civic Hybrid in the future. An announcement from Honda on Thursday confirms the Insight will end production in June. Although the current Honda Insight is a 10th-generation Civic with styling tweaks and a hybrid powertrain, Honda wants to focus on using core models to increase hybrid volume.
